On March 17, 2025, PGIM Fixed Income announced that it “welcomes Daleep Singh back as vice chair, chief global economist and head of global macroeconomic research, effective April 21, 2025.” The release recites the two Biden tours, the New York Fed Markets Group title, the 2011–2017 Treasury years (acting assistant secretary for Financial Markets; deputy assistant secretary for Europe and Eurasia), and eight years at Goldman Sachs. It says he will report to Gregory Peters, co-chief investment officer, oversee the global macroeconomic research team, and, as vice chair, “assume broad executive responsibilities including building out the firm’s global brand and serving on PGIM Fixed Income’s senior leadership team.” Singh is quoted: “I’m delighted to return to PGIM Fixed Income and grateful for the opportunity to take on a broader set of responsibilities to help the organization — and its clients — meet the transformative moment we’re in.”
The current PGIM biography page, last checked August 26, 2026, still lists him as “Vice Chair and Chief Global Economist,” with a Newark, N.J., office line, and repeats the Biden DNSA / Deputy NEC service and the New York Fed and Treasury history. It says he was named one of the Bloomberg 50 in 2022. That award line is the employer’s. This page does not treat a magazine list as an official finding.
